It's a very small tip.But I think it'll help you a lot.
In 2007, Seoul City has introduced a 120 call system for Korean.
At that time, it was very sensational. I used a lot.

(I was born in Cheon-an. So when I moved to Seoul, I didn't know many things)

★ Intrduce about 120 call center

You can ask everything. Especially about the location or transport etc.
For example..

" I want to go to 63 bulding from seoul station. How can I get there? Taking a taxi is the fastest way?

"Could you tell me the bus number which is from Cityhall to Insadong?"

They answer everthing. Even though you ask below things..

"How high is the HanRa mountaiin?"
"My girlfriend is angry. How can I calm down her?"
"I make a bet with my friend. Which one is bigger between magpie and crow?"

I can't believe that someone ask that kinds funny things could ask. But,they did.

Of course,
I don't want you to ask a question of no value.

But, When you have a problem on your journey, you can use this call service.
Also If you meet a bad taxi driver, you can call them. They accept complaint.
Or you lost your luaggage on the bus, if you remeber the bus number, arrived bus stop name, they will help you.

For foreigner, the number is  120 + 9

If you plan to use your smart phone in Korea while you are traveling, some applications can help you a lot. As you Know Korea’s wi-fi network is very cool.
You can use wi-fi in the subway, café, and even on the road.
Not only in Seoul, but other cities as well. Except very small towns.

I introduce subway smart application. You can download it in the app store.

Application's name : ‘Jihachul’
( Jihachul means ‘subway’ in Korean.)

 1) Download it.

2) Choose the language. TO help your understanding, I choosed English version.
You see? If you want to go another cities in Korea, you can use this application as well.

3) You can see the map.
If you want to know how to get from A station to B station, Only you have to do is just touch the depart and arrive station.
(They also serve 'stop by station'. How cooool~)

At the top of the screen, you can calcurate travel time and the fare.
On bottom, there are 3 options.
Fastest way which is the basic / Fewst way / Transfer info
Useful!!!

4) That's the transfer info's result.
If you have to transfer the staion, you can check it.
The lovely thing is you can also know that the fastest section you got off, when you have to change the line.

5) Of course you can see the time table of each station's train.

 6) Plus, You can check the nearest subway staion, when you are on the road.
It will help you when you don't know where you are.

If this information is help you a lot, give me a comment.
Welcome any question about it ^^

[Hahahoho] About me & my blog

Hello Stranger!

I’m a Korean girl who love traveling a lot.
I made this blog to communicate with diverse countries people.

<Hi! I'm Hahahoho. It means nothing! kkkkk>

I want you to get a more wealth of information about Korea, if you have a plan to visit my country.

Most of Korean use 'NAVER’ portal, not ‘Google’.
So it’s not easy to get the information or a real picture of Korea through Google.

That’s the main reason I made blog on Google. I will write on it, as a point of foreign traveler, to give you the helpful information.

You have to know that…My English is not good enough to do this blog. So sometimes you can’t get my word. (I hope that It won’t happen:) Be generous!!

I’ve travelled Egypt, Syria, China, Thailand, Italia, England, Ireland, Switzerland..etc.
After travelling I’m working in KOREA as the school personnel.
It is no relations with trip things at all :)

<As a traveller in Bangkok, 2012>

You can see as much as you know.
I really hope my blog give you the useful information about Korea.
And also talk with you someday. It’s wonderful thing we can know each other this place, isn’t it?

So if you have any question about Korea or anything..whatever!
